June in Central FL

Greetings From  Central Florida!  With temperatures running in the high 90’s and feels like excess of 100 degrees, the heat is definitely on full blast; likewise so is our current workload here in O-Town. Bobby Lawson is continuing the 10’ deep x 12” holes in the blast pit @ launch Complex # for Real Tree Demo, along with some confined space wire sawing, and some slab removal. James Daniels has set up camp at the O’Connell Center @ University of Florida for the boys at NASH Inc. He has been doing over 5,000 sq. ft. of 8”-10” interior slab openings, chain sawing dozens of mechanical openings in 8” block wall, other various scopes of work. Danny, Noah, Carlos, and Rodney took out a 50’ long x 30: high x 6 thick exterior precast wall on the 12 floor of the Winnie Palmer Women’s Pavilion this week. They had to secure the pieces with a come along and pull them onto the roof one at a time to prevent them from falling 12 floors to the ground. It wall completed in in 4 days and Robbins & Morton were very happy with our knowledge and the plan we created to get the work done safely and quickly. Mark has been doing a great job of filling the board and blocking me from getting too much on there. Mike is settling in nicely, getting back in the groove and acclimated to the changes that have occurred since he was steering the ship over in Tampa. #newsfromotown #newsworthy
