Rebuilding Together Broward Even – L-RJeanette Alston-Watkins, Sophie Bassal, Darlene Quinones, Alexandra Labarr, Heather Phillips Speedy’s Business Development Plan started off 2020 with a unique opportunity to attend a “Business Development Retreat” at the Westin Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach.The event hosted by Sandra Pabon, Vice President of Itasca Construction and attended by many others coming from different parts of the industry. The weekend was spent learning and going over different business development strategies to gain the trust of existing and potential customers. Speedy Concrete Cutting had a special invitation to attend the “Black Dresses & Blueprints” event, celebrating women in construction hosted by Rebuilding Together Broward.Their mission is “Repairing homes, revitalizing communities & rebuilding lives”.The event was established to honor women in construction who are making a difference in our community . Among them were, Beth Azor – Azor Advisory Services, Debbie Danto – Danto Builders, Traci Miller- Miller Construction and Alexandra Torti who received the Young Builder Award.It was an amazing night and an honor to be a part of. Speedy was the Title Sponsor for the CASF Florida Panthers vs Philadelphia Flyers game at the BB&T Center.It was a perfect night to network and connect with over 200 guests in attendance. In February,The National Association of Women in Construction & Moss Construction hosted a private tour ofthe new Inter Miami CF Stadium (old Lockhart Stadium – pictured above) to do a walk through while under the final stages of construction. Also, the Speedy Weenie Wagon served lunch to 200 of our friends at Archer Western in Miami.Everyone enjoyed a chance to take a quick break and have a bite on us!Hosting sub meetings, lunch ‘n learns, happy hour events and fishing trips, keep us connected to our loyal customers and our industry.We are always looking for ways to show our gratitude and appreciation for their business and loyalty.
